BACCH is a professional membership organisation for doctors and other professionals working in paediatrics and child health in the community. It is the largest speciality group of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
EKAM is an NGO that works to provide quality healthcare to children and mothers in need in India with the aim of reducing infant, childhood, adolescent and maternal mortality rates. They are linked with a global network of public health experts and have invaluable experience in engaging with individuals who do not often take part in research.
The Children’s Society (TCS) is a national charity working to help young people facing abuse, exploitation and neglect by supporting them through their most serious life challenges and campaigning tirelessly for social changes. It is a key part of the CHAMPIONS project: Dr Sorcha Mahony, Senior Researcher at TCS, is leading a workstream looking at the impacts of COVID-19 on older children.
PAHUS is an organisation that raises awareness of neglected health and social issues through use of art and film.The team has collaborated with various institutions, including UCL and India Alliance, on projects related to Child Health. PAHUS is assisting CHAMPIONS with their expertise on public engagement and sharing research findings in creative ways.Its founder, Dr Kartik Sharma, is serving as our Creative Adviser and assisting with development of this website and other creative outputs.
