CREATIVE ARTs
At CHAMPIONS, we've been bringing together children and families and creative organisations around the country to support children to share their experiences in the way they want to.
See some of the results below.
Newham workshop:
In collaboration with London Borough of Newham and Graffwerk, we hosted a creative arts workshop for children in Newham to give them a chance to tell their stories and share their experiences.

HELP CHILDREN HAVE THEIR SAY
The CHAMPIONS Project is committed to giving back to children and communities across the country. That’s why we’ve been working with partners, such as artists at Graffwerk, to organise creative workshops and events for vulnerable children. You can see some of the artwork here.
Our research funding does not cover these workshops and events, so we rely on the generosity of individuals and organisations. If you would like to give children the opportunity to show their creative sides, share stories and make these visible, you can donate with the link below, and the funds will be held by our partner, EKAM UK.
We hope to one day have held an arts workshop in every town and city in England. We also want to find places everywhere to proudly display what the children have created on walls, in galleries and in magazines to encourage a discussion and create a ‘noise’ about children’s rights, child poverty and homelessness. Creative activities are shown to help with mental health, build self-esteem and enable the children to express their experiences, hopes, and dreams.
By supporting us, you can give children and their families a voice, campaign for their rights and showcase their dreams to the world. With your help we can make sure decisions about children’s futures are made with the children.
